Furniture manufacturing volume in the Republic of Sakha, Yakutia has grown from 77.4 millions of rubles in 2003 year to 107.2 millions of rubles in 2005 year. Over the nine months period in 2005 year there were produced some furniture to the amount of 80 millions of rubles in the Republic. The best part of furniture is manufactured in Yakutsk where large producers work. In the regions mostly individual entrepreneurs work. A large share of the market (27%) is occupied by the furniture manufacturing leader - Sakhamebel. Nevertheless it’s share decreasing while small enterprises appear using more modern equipment. 37 of 50 furniture manufactures are the representatives of small business. The volume of their production is growing. In 2005 year it was more than a half of all furniture manufacture volume in the Republic. Over the 10 months period in 2006 year small enterprises share in the furniture manufacture volume reached 74%.
