There are 29 double rooms with snow bedrooms and other snow and ice furniture at the hotel. The guests can have a grateful sleep at about 5 degrees below zero in the rooms but they won’t become cold as being warmed up with fur sleeping bags and night sauna. The corridors and the halls at the hotel are decorated with ice sculptures imaging fairy characters. You can meet both the Red Hat and a Grey Wolf and Pinokkio made of ice. The furniture in the restaurant is also made of ice except benches covered with buck skin. Guests are treated to hot meal and drink. This place turns out to be a real fairy tale for children. The fortress can exist only in winter therefore it’s rebuilt in every season. It comes to the end at the beginning of April, when the sun begins to shine. Annually over 100 thousand tourists from Finland and other 45 countries visit this place of sight. This season warm weather creates lots of problems for builders.
